Yates had his first start at quarterback while Arian Foster rushed for 111 yards on 31 carries on Dec. 4, 2011. Atlanta scored 10 unanswered points in the second half. After Foster's 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, Matt Ryan drove the Falcons to the Houston 25-yard line with 16 seconds remaining and threw three incompletions. The third was defended by Kareem Jackson in the endzone to end the game.
