TBT: Texans triumph over Tampa Bay 37-9

On November 13, 2011, Houston defeated Tampa Bay 37-9 at Raymond James Stadium the last time these two teams met. The Texans No. 1 ranked defense sacked quarterback Josh Freeman four times and limited Tampa Bay to 231 yards.

Arian Foster, with 186 yards from scrimmage, had 102 yards receiving and rushed for 84 yards on 17 carries. He added two touchdowns, one on the ground and a career-long 78 yarder catch-and-run in the second quarter.

Brian Cushing led the team with 8 tackles and a sack for a loss of eight yards. Rookie J.J. Watt had 0.5 sacks and 3 tackles. Safety Quintin Demps intercepted a deflected pass at the Tampa Bay 32-yard line to set up the team's final score of the day.

The Texans will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in their Week 3 matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for noon on FOX-26 and SportsRadio 610.
