Texans expect healthy o-line for Denver

The Texans expect to see starting right guard Jeff Allen and right tackle Derek Newton for their Week 7 game at Denver. If so, it would mark the first time all five starting offensive linemen play together this season.
Guard Oday Aboushi and tackle Chris Clark filled in on the right side of the offensive line, while Duane Brown had his second start at left tackle against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night,
"I do expect Newton and Allen back," head coach Bill O'Brien said Wednesday. "I thought that Aboushi and (Chris) Clark played well. They played tough, they fought, they protected pretty well. Are their things that we can all improve on? Yes, no doubt about it but I thought that those guys had solid games."
Allen, who left the Oct. 9 game at Minnesota, had been in the league's concussion protocol and inactive against the Colts. Newton was active but did not play after being limited all week in practice with an ankle injury.
Brown played every snap in the win over the Colts, after being limited in his return the week before. The Texans offensive line helped Lamar Miller reach a season-high 149 yards rushing with two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving in the 26-23 overtime win over the Colts. Brown says the goal to continue to run the ball and protect Brock Osweiler against a talented Broncos defense.
"A lot of talented players, obviously, they have a very, very great player in Von Miller that we have to account for but he's not the only one," Brown said. "They have a number of Pro Bowl players on that defense and we know it's a big challenge, a big test but we're ready for it."
The (4-2) Texans travel to Denver to face the (4-2) Broncos on Monday Night Football in Week 7. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and SportsRadio 610.
