Texans head to NFL Rookie Symposium

Texans players traveled to Aurora, Ohio on Wednesday to attend the 2014 NFL Rookie Symposium. The purpose of the annual Symposium is to provide resources to drafted rookies to help them successfully transition to the NFL and successfully identify common off-field issues.

Presentations and workshops at the Symposium cover a variety of topics including: player health and safety, decision making, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence prevention, non-discrimination, and maintaining positive relationships.

The Symposium kicked off with NFC rookies on Sunday. AFC rookies, including the Texans, arrived Wednesday and will stay until June 28.
