Texans hope to get Cole, Johnson back for MNF

The Texans have been dealing with a number of injuries heading into Week 12, but a few players are likely to suit up for the Monday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens.

-Inside linebacker Dylan Cole returned to practice this week after missing four games with a hamstring injury. Head coach Bill O'Brien was optimistic about Cole's return for the Texans Monday Night game at Baltimore, saying the rookie was "trending that way." The undrafted rookie free agent recorded two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown in Week 4 against Tennessee.

-Kevin Johnson, who entered the league's concussion protocol this week, returned to practice but is still waiting to be cleared for Monday's game.

"It's encouraging, no doubt," O'Brien said of Johnson's progress.

-Will Fuller V could miss at least one more game with a ribs injury after being inactive on Sunday against Arizona.  On Monday, O'Brien said Fuller's status for the Week 12 game was "touch and go," but the wide receiver did not practice Friday.

The Texans will next travel to Baltimore to play the Ravens on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and SportsRadio 610.
