Top Plays of 2012: Interceptions

Help us choose the top plays from the Texans' 2012 season. Pick the best interceptions, sacks, hits, touchdowns and celebrations from the back-to-back AFC South champs' 12-4 campaign.

HOW IT WORKS
We'll list 10 plays in each category at the start of each month, from March-July. Your votes via text message (details below) decide the top five plays in each category.

We'll unveil the top five plays one-by-one every day in the final week of each month. Watch the "Top 10" in the video above, read about them in the text below and vote for your favorites today!

INT1: CB Johnathan Joseph, Week 1 vs. Miami Dolphins (7:35 2nd quarter, Texans trailing 3-0)
On second-and-12 from the Miami 47, Joseph jumped a slant route by Dolphins WR Legedu Naane to pick off rookie QB Ryan Tannehill at midfield, then returned it 36 yards.

INT2: SS Danieal Manning, Week 4 vs. Tennessee Titans(9:39 3rd quarter, Texans leading 14-7)
On first-and-10 from the Tennessee 32, Manning picked off Matt Hasselbeck and returned it 55 yards for a touchdown.

INT3: CB Kareem Jackson, Week 4 vs. Tennessee Titans (4:12 4th quarter, Texans leading 31-7)
On second-and-six from the Tennessee 42, Jackson jumped a slant route on a short pass to the left for WR Damian Williams, and then picked off Matt Hasselbeck and scored on a 63-yard return.

INT4: CB Brice McCain, Week 5 at New York Jets (0:30 2nd quarter, Texans leading 14-7)
On second-and-five at the Houston 12, McCain picked off Mark Sanchez on a pass tipped by DE J.J. Watt. He returned the ball 86 yards to the Jets' 9-yard line, setting the Texans up for a 27-yard field goal.

INT5: CB Johnathan Joseph, Week 7 vs. Baltimore Ravens (15:00 2nd quarter, Texans leading 9-3)
On second-and-7 from the Baltimore 41, Joseph picked off future Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown. J.J. Watt tipped the pass at the line of scrimmage.

INT6: FS Glover Quin, Week 7 vs. Baltimore Ravens (1:13 2nd quarter, Texans leading 26-3)
On third-and-two from the Houston 36, Quin made a diving one-handed interception off Joe Flacco on a pass tipped by OLB Whitney Mercilus. Mercilus hit Flacco as he attempted to throw it to his right.

INT7: SS Danieal Manning, Week 10 at Chicago Bears (0:59 1st quarter, Texans leading 3-0)
On second-and-nine from the Chicago 30, Manning picked off Jay Cutler at the six-yard line on a pass intended for TE Kellen Davis. ILB Bradie James was running with Davis deep and knocked him off his route.

INT8: ILB Darryl Sharpton, Week 12 at Tennessee Titans (2:05 4th quarter, Texans leading 24-10)
On first-and-10 from the Tennessee 21, Sharpton picked off Jake Locker with a diving interception on a pass deflected by S Quintin Demps. WR Nate Washington almost caught the ball for a first down but was leveled by Demps.

INT9: ILB Tim Dobbins, Week 12 at Tennessee Titans (8:45 2nd quarter, Texans leading 14-3)
On first-and-10 from the Tennessee 10, Dobbins picked off Jake Locker on a pass tipped by NT Shaun Cody. Cody deflected the ball at the 5-yard line, Dobbins fielded it at the 10 and returned it seven yards.

INT10: CB Johnathan Joseph, Wild Card playoffs vs. Cincinnati Bengals (3:15 3rd quarter, Texans up 16-10)
On second-and-seven from the Cincinnati 24, Joseph intercepted Andy Dalton at the 40 and returned it 14 yards. The pass was intended for Pro Bowl WR A.J. Green.
