The Houston Texans (4-8) will return home to face the San Francisco 49ers (2-10) in Week 14. Kickoff at NRG Stadium is scheduled for noon CT on FOX as the team celebrates it's annual Battle Red Day, presented by Halliburton.

The Texans are coming off a 24-13 road loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 13. Houston gained 384 total net yards on offense, including 331 passing yards and 17 passing first downs, which is the the second-most passing yards it has gained in a game this season (367 at Seattle in Week 8) and the the second-most passing first downs they've had in a game (19 in Week 4 vs. Tennessee).

QB Tom Savage led the way with his first career 300-yard passing game, becoming the eighth quarterback in franchise history to do so. Savage completed 31-of-49 passes (63.3%) for a single-game career-high 365 yards, one touchdown, one interception and a 84.1 passer rating. He also became the third quarterback in franchise history with 30-or-more completions in a game, joining David Carr and Matt Schaub.
