Week 6 fantasy recap

When one thinks of big games in the history of sports, one might think back to the single-game rushing record of 296 yards by Adrian Peterson, one of the 20-strikeout games in Roger Clemens' career or Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game.

Fantasy football fans will think of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, as he scored 51 points in Week 6 in the 2009 Texas Fantasy Football League. Running back Maurice Jones-Drew (33 pts), wide receiver Randy Moss (30 pts) and running back Ricky Williams (29 pts) all chipped along with Brady for team "Bring It!", who scored 189 points to win Week 6 and a Tour for Four of Reliant Stadium, as well as a 40 percent discount at the Go Texan Store.

The prize for Week 7 is a copy of MADDEN '10 on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.

In the Texans Celebrity League…Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com kept his lead over Patti Smith as we are 1/3 of the way of through the season.

Top three TCL finishers in Week 6 were:1. Nick Scurfield (Scurf's Up) – 180 points
2. Patti Smith (FSHDiva) – 170 points
3. Alex Radow (Almans) – 166 points
