Will Fuller, V is making progress towards playing on Sunday night against the Cowboys.
The Texans receiver missed the second half of Sunday's win over the Colts because of a hamstring injury. After the game, head coach Bill O'Brien said Fuller wanted to play in the second half, but would've been unable to run certain routes because of the injury. The team kept him on the sidelines after the intermission.
Fuller practiced on a limited basis the past two days, and before Thursday's work said he feels "good" and was hopeful he'd play versus Dallas.
"Just taking it day-by-day in the treatment room, trying to get it to feel as best as possible," Fuller said.
The third-year pass-catcher caught a 3-yard touchdown late in the first quarter at Indianapolis, and finished with four receptions for 49 yards. He's caught a scoring pass in all seven games he's played with quarterback Deshaun Watson, and that duo's combined for 10 total touchdown passes. Missing the second half was tough, according to Fuller.
"Yeah, I was frustrated," Fuller said. "I wanted to be out there and help my team win. We got the win, so that's all I'm worried about, but yeah, definitely wanted to be out there."
Fuller said Thursday that he "definitely" thinks he'll play Sunday night if his health continues on the trend it's gone this week.
The Texans will practice again on Friday, and host Dallas at 7:20 inside NRG Stadium on Sunday night.
