DeAndre Hopkins to announce Texans draft pick

DeAndre Hopkins will return to primetime television to announce the Houston Texans second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The NFL, heading into its 100th season, is incorporating 64 NFL Legends and active players into this year's draft festivities. Former NFL first-round picks will announce their team's second-round draft selection while third-round selections will be announced by players drafted in later rounds. NFL Legends and players will also be on-site to mentor draft prospects and participate in a variety of community service events during the week NFL Draft.

The Texans selected Hopkins, now a two-time First-Team All-Pro, with a first-round selection (27th overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft. Houston, selecting 23rd this year, has two picks in the second round, 54th and 55th overall. 

The 2019 NFL Draft takes place April 25 through 27 in Nashville, Tennessee. Round 2 and Round 3 start at 6:00 p.m. CT on Friday, April 26 and will air on five networks: NFL Network, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
