Jadeveon Clowney has career day vs. Patriots

On Sunday night, Jadeveon Clowney faced Tom Brady for the first time in his NFL career and sacked him.

Twice.

It was the first multi-sack game of his NFL career. However, it wasn't much consolation for Clowney, who said he'd much rather have a win.

"Yeah, that's more important than sacks; it's about the win," Clowney said after the game. "We are trying to win and lead up to more wins, so hopefully we can get the ball back rolling."

The second-year linebacker sacked Brady in the third and fourth quarters of the Texans 27-6 loss to the Patriots. Each sack resulted in a 10-yard loss on the play.

After recording a sack in his second-consecutive game, Clowney now has 4.5 on the season. He also had seven tackles, four solo, two for a loss, and two quarterback hits.

"I'm just trying to help the team, regardless," Clowney said. "Just trying to be disruptive, no plays, no sacks, just trying to be disruptive and help the defense get stops. If we get more stops and get the ball back to our offense, we get more chances to score."

The Texans fall to 6-4 with the loss and head to Indianapolis to face the (6-7) Colts on Sunday. Kickoff is set for noon CT.
