On the eve of the 2011 NFL Draft, we've updated our Texans Mock Draft Machine for the fifth and final time with the most recent projections from mock drafts around the web.

We added two mock drafts to our survey this week, giving us 18 total that we used to project the top-10 picks in the 2011 draft. The Texans' pick at No. 11, made by a different guest expert each week, was left up to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Our full methodology, including a link to each of the 18 surveyed mock drafts, can be found at the bottom of the page. Here are the results of our fifth Texans Mock Draft Machine:

The Texans' pick (made by John McClain of the Houston Chronicle):

Here's who was picked for the Texans in our 18-mock survey: Smith (8 votes), Amukamara (4), Quinn (3), Ryan Kerrigan (2), Watt (1).

METHODOLOGY: We polled 18 mock drafts, tabulating how many times a player was picked for each of the top-10 teams in the draft. A player who got the most "votes," as we'll call them, at each team was the pick. The only exception was at pick No. 7, where Peterson got the most votes but Gabbert was the pick because Peterson was already off the board at No. 5.

All of the mocks used were the author/website's most current mock as of April 27 at 5:30 p.m. CT.

The mock drafts in our survey: Mel Kiper (ESPN.com - 4/6), Todd McShay (ESPN.com - 4/20), Don Banks (SI.com - 4/27), Nolan Nawrocki (Pro Football Weekly - 4/15), Evan Silva (Pro Football Talk - 4/27), Chad Reuter (NFL Draft Scout/CBS - 4/27), Rob Rang (NFL Draft Scout/CBS - 4/25), Russ Lande (Sporting News - 4/20), Wes Bunting (National Football Post - 4/27), Pat Kirwan (NFL.com - 4/24), Steve Wyche (NFL.com - 4/25), Bucky Brooks (NFL.com - 4/22), John McClain (Houston Chronicle - 4/25), John Harris (View from the Sideline - 4/19), Walter Football (4/27), OurLads.com (4/17), Adam Caplan (FOX Sports – 4/25), Jason La Canfora (NFL.com – 4/27).
