HOUSTON – The Houston Texans Spanish-language radio broadcast team has added a new in-game analyst, Pedro Vella.  Enrique Vasquez will continue to serve as the play-by-play announcer, and Jose "JoJo" Padron will continue to provide color commentary. Vasquez, Padron and Vella are all a part of Univision Radio, the leading radio company serving Hispanics in the U.S.

Vasquez begins his 12th season on the Texans Spanish radio broadcast team and his second as the play-by-play announcer. He is also a regular contributor to HoustonTexans.com on both the English and Spanish sections of the website.

Vasquez began his sports broadcasting career in 1992 as a color analyst on the Houston Oilers Spanish radio broadcast where he remained through the 1995 season. In addition, he handled play-by-play duties for FOX Sports Americas on the network's international coverage of the NFL game of the week, as well as Super Bowls XXXI and XXXII. From 1998-01, Vasquez served as play-by-play announcer on select preseason games on the Dallas Cowboys Spanish radio broadcast and was the color commentator in 2000 and 2001.

Padron enters his second season with the Texans Spanish radio broadcast team and will once again serve as color commentator in 2013. He is currently the drive-time afternoon host of Univision Radio's KAMA Tu Musica 104.9 FM.

Padron broke into the broadcasting industry at the age of six, becoming the youngest television star on Univision's top-rated show "Sábado Gigante." He also made numerous appearances on other television shows, including Party of Five, ER, General Hospital, and Moesha.

In 2002, Padron focused his efforts on the radio business and has since been a part of several stations, including Hot 92 Jamz, Clear Channel in Los Angeles, KWIE Wild 96.1 FM in Riverside, Calif., and KVIB 95.1 Latino Vibe and KKFR Power 98.3 FM in Phoenix. He returned to Univision Radio in 2010 and in addition to Houston's KAMA Tu Musica 104.9 FM, he can also be heard on San Antonio's KGSX La Kalle 95.1 FM, and Albuquerque's KKRG La Kalle 101.3 FM.

Vella is in his first season on the Texans Spanish radio broadcast. His duties include in-game analysis and he'll be a contributor on "The Texans Show," which will air every Tuesday during the season at 5 p.m. CT on 1010 AM on Univision Radio's national radio network.

KLAT Univision America 1010 AM has been the flagship Spanish-language station for the Texans since 2002. It is owned and operated by Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America.
