- Started in all 15 games he appeared in and finished the regular season completing 319-of-499 passes for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns, five interceptions and a passer rating of 100.8
- His 4,108 passing yards are the third-most by a rookie quarterback in NFL history and his 23 touchdowns to five interceptions led the league in touchdown-interception ratio this season, crowning him as the youngest player in NFL history to lead the league in pass touchdown-interception ratio in a season.
- Made his first career start in Week 1 at Baltimore (9/10), where he finished 28-of-44 with 242 passing yards, the most by a Texans rookie quarterback in their first career start and had a completion percentage of 63.3, the highest by a Texans rookie quarterback in their regular season debut
