USA Football, in partnership with the Houston Texans, leaders in medicine, child advocacy and athletics to support positive football experiences for youth, high school and other amateur players through both tackle and flag football disciplines. On Saturday, March 25, the Houston Texans hosted the second Girls Flag Kickoff Jamboree at Legacy School of Sports Sciences! Over 90 female student-athletes participated in drills sessions followed by a flag football tournament. Throughout the day there were surprise visits by Texans Legends Earl Mitchell and Cecil Shorts III, Cheerleaders and TORO. Take a look at all the fun from the tournament! During the 2022 high school football season, the Texans took nominations for which high school football game we should visit for our final Friday Night Football stop. All the votes deemed the matchup between the Madison Marlins and Sterling Raiders the winner with Sterling ultimately taking home the win. Take a look back at the matchup and thank you to all who voted. We will see you next season!

We hosted the 2022 Youth Football Camp. Kids in the tackle and flag football camps participated in various drills with WR Nico Collins, TORO and Houston Texans Cheerleaders.

Coaches from across the Houston area came out to NRG Stadium for the annual Coaches Academy to hear from Houston's top high school coaches, participate in character-building discussions led by Lead 'Em Up Impact and so much more!

For the 2022 Houston Texans Coaches Academy, Texans Coach Warhop gave back to local high school coaching community, highlighting grant dollars awarded to undeserved high school football programs through the Ray Seals Grant.

The Houston Texans and Houston Methodist hosted a free, in-person clinic on Saturday, May 21 at the Houston Methodist Training Center. Kids, ages 7 to 14, joined Texans players, Cheerleaders, and more to learn about the importance of player safety while practicing football fundamentals.

The Houston Texans hosted over 400 student-athletes from Houston-area high schools for their annual Senior Showcase. Each high school senior had the chance to show off their football skills in front of 45 colleges to earn scholarships.

On Saturday, April 9, the Houston Texans hosted the Girls Flag Jamboree! Over 90 female student athletes participated in drills sessions followed by flag football tournament. Throughout the day there were surprise visits by Texans players, Legends, TORO, and Cheerleaders. Each team also received a flag kit equipment donation from the Houston Texans Foundation.

At this year's event, coaches learned the latest in high school coaching from Texans Offensive Line Coach George Warhop, Houston's top high school coaches, Lead 'Em Up and more!

On Saturday, December 4 the Houston Texans hosted a NFL FLAG Regional Tournament for over 70 flag football teams. The competing teams were visited by Texans Legend Matt Murphy, Cheerleaders and TORO. Take a look back at the action and congratulations to all of the winning teams who will go on to represent the Texans at this year's Championship Tournament at the 2022 Pro Bowl!

Houston Texans OL Jimmy Morrissey visited the Northwest Tigers of the F.U.N. Football League to provide motivation ahead of the team's upcoming playoff game and participate in some football drills with the team. 

Through the Showcase League Program, the Texans partner with Houston-area youth football leagues to offer support and grow the game of football. The Texans provide USA Football coaching certification fees, grant opportunities and special experiences throughout the season for the F.U.N. Football League.

On Saturday, September 11 at the F.U.N Stadium, Texans Legends and Cheerleaders visited showcase league participants for their match up. Through the Showcase League program the Texans partner with Houston area youth football leagues to provide support and grow the game of football. The Texans assist through USA Football coaching certification fees, providing grant opportunities, and special experiences throughout the season.
