Schools from Houston and surrounding areas were encouraged to show their TEXANS
pride on Friday Sept. 10, 2005, to celebrate the final day of "Go Texans Week"
The students and teachers responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, each uniquely
displaying their creativity and TEXANS pride. Their photos were then submitted
to the Houston Texans Foundation and the pictures were judged by various members
of the Houston Texans Staff.
After the scores were tallied, seven winning schools were awarded one autographed
football and three new footballs that can be used for their student body. In addition,
each winner will also receive a visit from either TORO or the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.
