Texans founder, chairman and CEO Bob McNair, along with his wife Janice, lent a helping hand to their neighbors from the north. They donated $100,000 to the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma (BGCO) Disaster Relief in Oklahoma City on behalf of their foundation and the Houston Texans.

The BGCO consists of 5,000 team members stationed in Oklahoma trained to respond quickly by providing hot meals, water purification, mobile showers and the like to those affected by the EF5 tornado that swept through Moore, OKla. on May 19.

After Thursday's OTA concluded, McNair expressed his deepest regrets to the victims of the natural disaster.

"It's just a tragic event," McNair said. "We were watching it on television and actually an acquaintance of ours, their family lives there. Fortunately, they weren't hurt, but their house was pretty much destroyed.

"It's just an unbelievable situation and we just wanted to say we're sorry that you have had this disaster, and hopefully this will help a little bit."
