Thanksgiving came early for over 100 kids at the Boys & Girls Club at Driver Park.

Texans Ambassador Eric Brown and Houston Texans Cheerleaders helped serve Thanksgiving meals to club members at the Kids Café on Tuesday.

Following dinner, the kids gathered in the gymnasium for an autograph signing and some holiday- themed cupcakes.

"Oh, this is awesome," said Shericka Scott, special events coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club. "I've been keeping it a secret from the kids all this time, and they are having too much fun. They're gonna be so surprised when they see that the cheerleaders get to autograph their cards."

Scott said it was hard to keep the event a surprise, but it was worth it in the end to see the looks on the youngsters' faces.

"What little kid doesn't love cupcakes? Especially from the Houston Texans. This is making all the difference."
