Dec. 10 **- The Houston Texans Foundation was pleased to honor Child Advocates, with a check presentation on the field. Child Advocates is one of the five Texans primary charities and will be supported throughout 2005-2007, with a gift of $25,000 each season.

Nov. 19 - **The Houston Texans Foundation was pleased to present the Juvenile Diabetes

Research Foundation International with a $25,000 check before the Texans vs. Buffalo   Bills game. JDRF is one of the five primary charities supported 2005-07 and will use this support to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.  * *

Oct. 22 - **The Houston Texans Foundation was pleased to present the Health Museum with a $25,000 check for the recent exhibit "It's a Nano World." The museum's current exhibit is "Take Your Family on a Walk Down Memory Lane" Featured Oct. 7 -  Dec. 10, 2006.

Oct.1 - The Houston Texans Foundation presented a $25,000 check to Rebuilding Together Houston, one of our five primary charities supported 2005-2007.

Rebuilding Together Houston is a nonprofit organization which provides home repair services for low income, elder and/or disabled Houston area homeowners.

All exterior repair work provided by RT-Houston on qualified homes is done by volunteer crews sponsored by corporations, churches, schools, and organizations.

There is no charge to the homeowner!

Sept. 24 - The Houston Texans Foundation was pleased to honor Boys and Girls Country, one of our five primary charities, with a check presentation on the field.

Boys and Girls Country gives high quality residential care in a Christian environment for children from families in crisis, primarily from the greater

area.   

Boys and Girls Country provides a warm, loving, family-like atmosphere where children have the opportunity to grow up safe, secure, and develop to their full potential. Residents live on campus in cottages with trained house-parents and attend public school. They also participate in outside activities such as church, band, sports, and summer camps among 

other activities.**

**Texans TEAM Luncheon

Aug. 30 - **The Houston Texans kicked off the 2006 season by having lunch with YOU at the 3rd Annual Houston Texans TEAM Luncheon, presented by Amegy Bank of Texas. Every Houston Texans player and coach packed the Hyatt Regency Houston on August 30, at this remarkable event.

Thanks to your support, the TEAM Luncheon raised more than $90,000! Proceeds benefited the Houston Texans Foundation and its five primary charities: Boys and Girls Country, Child Advocates, The Health Museum, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Rebuilding Together Houston.

Gridiron Glory: Sites and Sounds of the NFL

Sept. 7 -The Houston Symphony and the NFL joined together for this fabulous musical event on September 7. This was a fabulous and unique meeting of fine arts and football that you will not want to miss next year!

The Texans Foundation featured a silent auction benefiting our charities. Auction items included autographed Houston Texans memorabilia as well as several offerings from the Houston Symphony.

Taste of Victory & Silent Auction

Sept. 9 -The Houston Texans Taste of Victory and Cheerleader Magazine Preview Party premiered September 9. Texans Week was wrapped up in style and kicked off Sunday's Liberty White game to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Over 25 of the top Houston restaurants served their finest foods as we were introduced the 2006 Texans Cheerleader Magazine to live music! All Cheerleaders signed autographs and everyone in attendance received a 2006 Texans Cheerleader Magazine.

The evening also featured a Silent Auction that benefited the Houston Texans Foundation Auction items included: Houston Texans autographed items, a tour of Reliant Stadium - Behind the Scenes, Exclusive overnight getaway for two at The Houstonian - Golf outing for four at Wildcat Golf Club, and more!

Pancakes and Pigskins Rookie Breakfast

Sept. 12 -It's always a thrilling timeto be a Houston Texans fan, especially with our NFL Draft Picks and a new coaching staff! At the Fifth annual Houston Texans Pancakes and Pigskins Rookie Breakfast, attendees sat with a player and met our 2006 rookies.

The Pancakes and Pigskins Rookie Breakfast was held on September 12 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Proceeds, totaling more than $40,000, benefited the Houston Texans Foundation and Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. Both organizations are committed to encouraging children in the Houston and Montgomery County areas to achieve success.
