Deer Park running back Travis Carter had a huge day with three touchdowns on 170 yards rushing to lead the squad.

This week's Houston Texans 4A-under Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Devin Heasley of Scarborough High School. Coach Heasley's Spartans (2-8, 1-5) clipped Sterling, 28-26, to end the season on a high note. Running back Kindrick Nard had all of Scarborough's scores and finished the game with 228 yards on 34 carries.

Deer Park High School and Scarborough High School will each receive a $500 grant in their coach's name for winning the Texans Coach of the Week Award. Also, each coach will be recognized on HoustonTexans.com and NFLHS.com, and on the video board at Reliant Stadium. Coach Massey and Coach Heasley will also be invited to the Texans vs. Saints game on November 18 and will be recognized at the Texans High School Coach of the Year Banquet after the season. Fox Sports Net Houston and the US Army are associate sponsors of the Texans Coach of the Week Program.
