Humble's Walt Beasley and Texas City's Tim Finn were named Texans High School Coach of the Week Award winners.

This week's Houston Texans 5A Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Walt Beasley of Humble High School. The Wildcats (6-1) remained undefeated in district at 4-0 with a 24-21 comeback victory over rival Kingwood. Humble running back Craig Morris ran in the game-winning touchdown, his second score of the game, with just 1:28 left in regulation.

This week's Houston Texans 4A-under Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Tim Finn of Texas City High School. Coach Finn's Stingarees (6-1, 4-0) downed La Marque, the No. 2 team in the state, 27-24 in overtime to gain sole possession of first place in their district. Texas City kicker Mitch Russo won the game with a 32-yard field goal and running back Johnny Thomas provided the offense with three touchdowns on 183 rushing yards.

Humble High School and Texas City High School will each receive a $500 grant in their coach's name for winning the Texans Coach of the Week Award. Also, each coach will be recognized on HoustonTexans.com and NFLHS.com, and on the video board at Reliant Stadium. Coach Beasley and Coach Finn will also be invited to the Texans vs. Saints game on November 18 and will be recognized at the Texans High School Coach of the Year Banquet after the season. Fox Sports Net Houston and the US Army are associate sponsors of the Texans Coach of the Week Program.
