J.J. Watt causes mini 'Saved by the Bell' reunion

You know that feeling don't you?

When you wake up in the morning, and the alarm gives out a warning and you don't think you'll ever make it on time?

It's alright, because you'll be saved by the bell's...cast members.

Actor and television host Mario Lopez was the Texans homefield advantage captain for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. Lopez, famously known for his role as A.C. Slater in the mid 90's sitcom, is the brother-in-law of former Texan linebacker Kailee Wong. Lopez took in the festivities during Sunday's game, and got the chance to snap a photograph with Texans star J.J. Watt, which you can see below.

In addition to meeting Watt, Lopez stopped by the Texans 'Gameday Central' desk and took a Twitter mirror selfie with team's on-air talent.

After the game, Watt commented on his picture with Lopez from his Twitter account (@JJWatt), making a joke about the character Slater's availability.

For those under 30, 'Bayside' was the name of the fictional high school where Saved by the Bell took place. Watt also wondered about the whereabouts of Kelly Kapowski, another member of the Bayside student body. On the show, Kapowski was the head cheerleader and the object of every boy's affection.

Well, Kelly Kapowski answered.

Actress Tiffany Thiessen, who played Kapowski, replied to Watt via Instagram, and let him know that not only was she ok, but that she is also a fan of his. In her photo response, she was holding a picture of Watt's recent Men's Health cover, and commented that she was 'catching up on her reading'.

Take that preppies. If you don't get that reference, perhaps it is time for you to report to Mr. Belding's office.
