K Ka'imi Fairbairn ties NFL record for most made field goals in single season

With the clock winding down in the fourth quarter of the Texans' Week 18 contest against the Indianapolis Colts, Ka'imi Fairbairn once again strode onto the field. Another made FG would tie the Texans' single-game record for made field goals in a game at six.

It would also tie the NFL record for most made field goals in a season at 44.

Fairbairn, one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL, did not miss.

Moments later, Tommy Togiai recovered a fumble and forced his way into the end zone for a game-ending touchdown to solidify the win.

The Texans win, paired with Jacksonville's win over the Tennessee Titans, means Houston will be on the road for the Wild Card Round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs.
