Texans fans catch Batte Red fever before Thursday's game.

Battle Red fever has been spreading across Houston as Texans fans get geared up for the team's nationally televised game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday.

In the duel featured on the NFL Network, the Texans will be donning their Battle Red uniforms and Texans fans are encouraged to wear Battle Red to support the team.

A Battle Red spirit team has been traversing the city to spread Texans spirit. Their goodwill was especially enjoyed at Methodist Hospital where fans showed off Battle Red casts and took turns playing with a Texans football.

Across town, the Battle Red Smoker got ready for viewing at Thursday's game. The stainless steel smoker was designed around the Battle Red game day by Pitts and Spitts, which will team up with the Texans to auction off the smoker at the end of the season. The smoker has been signed by the entire Texans team, including wide receiver Andre Johnson, defensive end Mario Williams and quarterback Matt Schaub. **Click here** for more information.
