EDITOR'S NOTE: *Cornerback Antwaun Molden, a third-round draft choice at No. 79 overall out of Eastern Kentucky, is providing fans with a weekly diary entry throughout his rookie season on HoustonTexans.com.

*To all my fans –

Having three away games, it feels good to be back at home. We're looking forward to our home crowd being hostile. Given the circumstances of Ike, we're looking forward to bringing our city a win so we can all have something to smile about.

Those three away games were definitely part of a learning process for us. Every game, we learned something from, and we take it from there. We all have our heads up. We just continue working hard. All we can do is get better.

Five weeks into my rookie year, one of the things I've noticed is that this game, anyone could win, anyone could lose. You have to be consistent. It comes down to details.

The speed of the game hasn't really been a big adjustment for me so far. But we do play Indianapolis this week, so I'm pretty sure it'll be a little different going against that high-powered offense with Peyton, Harrison, Wayne and those guys.

They probably have a combined 20 Pro Bowls, just those three guys. They've had great accolades and great success among the three of them, and it's just an honor just to play against them to where one day I'll be able to look back and say I played against those guys.

But more than that, it's a great opportunity. I think any time you have a chance to go against the best, it proves where we are as a defense. I'm looking forward to competing and performing well on Sunday.

{QUOTE}As you all know, we lost C.C. Brown for the season after the Jacksonville game. C.C.'s a great player, and like he said, we've got to step it up. He told us just to stay focused and have fun out there. Those are big shoes to fill because he brought excitement, he brought speed to the secondary, he brought hard hitting, and we're definitely going to miss that from him.

Some fans were asking if I might play at safety with C.C. out and Will Demps a little banged up. I played safety my first year at University of Toledo. I was strong safety there, so I have experience. You're not going to see me switch positions, though. I'm a corner. That's what I like to play. I like to cover.

I'll be excited when I get out there some more, but like I said before, it's a process. You have to take it one day at a time and you have to continue to be in your book, because you never know when the time will come. And, again, you just have to be prepared so that you can make the most of that opportunity when the time does come.

To the Houston Texans fans, I'm looking for a hostile environment – safe, but hostile environment – at my first regular season game at Reliant Stadium. We're looking forward to bringing a win home this weekend.
