The Houston Texans will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from a silent auction held at Thursday night's 2013 Draft Party presented by Coors Light to the West, Texas Recovery Fund established by The United Ways of Texas. The auction raised more than $12,000, and the team has pledged to match the amount raised, resulting in a contribution of $25,000 to the relief fund.

The auction, which was located behind Section 339 in the Verizon East Club, featured eight exclusive items, including an encased NFL 2013 Draft Helmet to be autographed by wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans' number one draft pick.

United Ways across Texas are mobilizing their resources to aid the community of West, Texas in the wake of a fertilizer plant explosion on April 17, 2013. The blast left 14 dead and many without homes.
