The rookies are practicing for the first time as Texans on Friday, and they have new jersey numbers.
The first pick in the class was second-rounder Kamari Lassiter. The cornerback is wearing 14. Other Texans who've worn that number in franchise history include receiver/returner DeAndre Carter and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Offensive tackle Blake Fisher was the second player chosen by Houston, also in the second round, and he'll wear the number 57. Players like linebackers Kevin Bentley, Jesse Nading and Brennan Scarlett wore 57 as well.
Third-round safety Calen Bullock is wearing 41.
Former linebacker greats DeMeco Ryans and Brian Cushing will have their respective 59 and 56 numbers worn by defensive tackle Marcus Harris and linebacker Jamal Hill.
