The Houston Texans Cheerleaders visited Fort Hood this week to participate in a Purple Heart ceremony for soldiers who suffered combat injuries in Iraq.

The cheerleaders pinned Purple Hearts on 11 soldiers in front of nearly 900 of their compatriots from the 4th Infantry Division before performing a safety briefing in front of the troops.

The cheerleaders met soldiers from every branch of the military, signing over 1,200 posters and visiting patients in the post hospital.

Thanks to all for a memorable visit and special thanks to Fort Hood's Patrick McGhee for providing the photos.
