2020 Mock Draft Survey 4.0.57: Variety at 57th overall

The mock drafters are divided about the Texans at 57th overall.

Houston has a pair of second round draft picks, 40th and 57th overall, after last week's trade with Arizona.

Because of that duo, and no first-rounder because of last year's deal with Miami, today we're releasing Mock Draft Survey, Version 4.0.57. Tomorrow, we'll have the results of Mock Draft Survey 4.0.40 for the 40th overall selection.

A pair of mockers had the Texans going with Florida State running back Cam Akers at 57th. Akers averaged 5.0 yards per carry and ran for 14 touchdowns in 11 games last season. He also caught four scores in 2019. Two other mock drafts went with the Texans taking Notre Dame pass rusher Julian Okwara at 57th. He had had five sacks in nine games last year for the Irish.

Overall, three mock drafts had the Texans selecting a pass rusher, three had Houston getting corner help, while running back and receiver each were mocked twice apiece to Houston.

Most mock drafts only project what the first round will look like. That's why there are only 11 mock drafts in this version. We expect more to come in the next few versions.
