Mock Draft Survey 5.0.57: WR 'Chase' at 57th

If the mock drafts are correct, there will be another Notre Dame wide receiver catching passes for the Texans.

22 mock drafts are in and three had Houston taking Chase Claypool, a pass-catcher from Notre Dame. He was the most-mocked player to the Texans, and if it were to happen, he'd join Will Fuller V, who also starred at receiver for the Fighting Irish.

After their trade with Arizona, the Texans have a pair of second round picks at 40th and 57th overall. Tomorrow, we'll unveil the Mock Draft Survey for the 40th selection.

Houston traded away its 2020 and 2021 first round draft picks to Miami in the deal that netted them left tackle Laremy Tunsil and receiver Kenny Stills.

Of the 22 mock drafts, eight had Houston going with a receiver at 57th overall. USC wideout Michael Pittman Jr. was mocked to the Texans by two experts. The only other player mocked to the Texans more than once was Missouri defensive lineman Jordan Elliott.

Defensive line was the choice by four mock drafts, while cornerback was mocked to Houston by three other experts.
