Texans sign Johnson to practice squad

HOUSTON - The Houston Texans announced today that they have signed WR Albert Johnson to the practice squad. Johnson (5-9, 190) is in his third NFL season. After a standout career at Southern Methodist, Johnson played a season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. He played sparingly with the Dolphins for two seasons (2001-02) before he was signed (4-14-03) and released (9-9-03) by the Jets.
