Aramark Sports & Entertainment and the Houston Texans are continuing to work together to give back to the city of Houston and create opportunities.
Each Texans home game, Aramark works with non-profit groups to help staff and work concession stands. In return, these non-profit groups receive a portion of sales that they can then use to make a difference in our community.
Recently, Aramark has partnered with the Professional Accounting Society, a professional student club that offers well-rounded exposure to the accounting world. Operating out of the University of Houston-Downtown, PAS gives students the chance to network with big accounting firms, learn relevant industry skills and become a bridge to future job opportunities.
The UH-Downtown Professional Accounting Society has been a part of UHD's business community since 1979. They are considered one of the premier business student organizations in the College of Business. The Professional Accounting Society also maintains a healthy involvement in surrounding communities through community outreach initiatives.
In 2015, the PAS is exclusively volunteering with the Houston Texans through Aramark to connect with the city of Houston. Members from the local chapter will work concessions for Aramark during Texans games. To learn more about PAS, you can visit their website or Facebook page.
