Dates changed for training camp practices

All tickets for the Houston Texans Training Camp, presented by Wachovia, have been distributed to Texans fans, the team announced Monday. The 50,000 tickets were available at Wachovia Financial Centers in the greater Houston area and were limited to six per person per practice. Tickets were made available on Wednesday, July 9 and all were distributed in less than three weeks.

Fans will have an opportunity to watch practice sessions as well as participate in sponsor-related interactive areas throughout the practices, such as Fan Zone behind the bleachers and interactive games. Texans Cheerleaders, Texans Ambassadors and TORO will be available during practice sessions for autographs.

Free parking is available north of the Methodist Training Center off of McNee Street in the Purple Lot.

There are six opportunities for fans to attend Houston Texans Training Camp, presented by Wachovia. Due to concerns related to the heat at afternoon practices, the Texans have altered the schedule of public practice sessions to feature more morning practice sessions.

Tickets distributed for afternoon practice sessions may be redeemed at any other practice. Texans fans are invited to tailgate prior to the Saturday, July 26 practice session. Parking lots will open at 6 a.m.

Afternoon practices on Saturday, July 26; Sunday, July 27; and Friday, Aug. 1 were cancelled.
