Quarterback Matt Schaub was chosen today as one of the nominees for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week after passing for a team-record 497 yards and three touchdowns in the 30-27 overtime win over Washington.

It's the second consecutive week that a Texans player has been nominated for the award. Last week, running back Arian Foster was named the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week after rushing for a team-record 231 yards on 33 carries with three scores against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fans can vote for Schaub until Friday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. CT, by clicking HERE.

Schaub is joined by Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez as nominees. The winner will be announced Friday evening on NFL.com.
