Single-game tickets on sale Friday

HOUSTON - Have no fear, Houston Texans QB David Carr and CB Aaron Glenn aren't calling it quits on the gridiron to pursue other career avenues. But both will test their hand in the sales industry at Reliant Stadium's Budweiser Plaza on Friday, July 23 at 7:30 a.m.

That's when the duo will actually step behind the counter in the ticket booth and sell the Texans' first 2004 single game ticket to one of a hundred randomly-selected Texans fans. In addition to the great photo opportunity, both players will be available for interviews with the media at the event.

Texans single game tickets go on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets for all fans at 10 a.m., following Carr and Glenn's sales debuts.

Tickets for all 10 Texans home games (preseason and regular season) can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets by calling 713-629-3700 or via the Internet at www.ticketmaster.com. There is a limit of eight tickets per person per game and a limit of two for the Green Bay game on November 21.

From July 15 until noon on Tuesday, July 20, fans were able to register online to be one of 100 randomly selected who would be able to by single-game tickets before they went on sale to the general public. Following notification by the Texans, the 100 fans selected will pick up their wristbands at the team's offices at Reliant Stadium on Wednesday.

The Texans report to training camp on Friday, July 30 and begin practicing for the 2004 season on Saturday, July 31 at 8:45 a.m. Carr and Glenn are expected to be on the field.
