Texans claim CB Terrance Mitchell

The Houston Texans today claimed CB Terrance Mitchell off waivers.

Mitchell, 5-11, 190 pounds, is a third-year veteran who spent time with the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys in 2014 and 2015. Last season, he played in eight games and contributed 13 tackles (10 solo), one interception, 1.0 sack, three passes defensed and one forced fumble. Mitchell was originally selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round (254th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Oregon.
