Texans host coaching academy

* HOUSTON*– The Houston Texans will host a day-long clinic for high school coaches on Friday, June 2. Texans coaches will teach techniques and strategies of offense, defense and special teams. Other topics covered will include strength and conditioning, fitness and nutrition. The coaching academy participants will observe a Texans practice and an on-field special teams demonstration.

Guest speakers include Texans Strength & Condition Coach Dan Riley, Team Dietician Roberta Anding, Running Backs Coach Chick Harris, Assistant Defensive Line Coach Tracy Simien, Wide Receivers Coach Kyle Shanahan, Offensive Line Coach John Benton, Defensive Backs Coach Jon Hoke, Linebackers Coach Johnny Holland, Tight Ends Coach Brian Pariani, Offensive Quality Control Coach Mike McDaniel and Defensive Quality Control Coach Robert Saleh.
