Texans place Clemons on injured reserve

HOUSTON - The Houston Texans announced today that they have placed LB Charlie Clemons on the Reserve/Injured list with an ankle injury. The injury occurred against the Jacksonville Jaguars on December 7.

The Texans signed TE Rashod Kent (6-6, 275) from the practice squad to replace Clemons on the roster. Kent was on the Texans 53-man roster for the first eight games of this season, before being released and signed to the practice squad.

         The
         Texans have now placed 13 players on the Reserve/Injured list this
         season.
