Steve McKinney (76) started the first three games of this season as the Texans' starting center.

The Texans have placed center Steve McKinney (knee) and defensive tackle Cedric Killings (neck) on the reserve/injured list. To fill the spots on the roster, Houston has re-signed wide receiver David Anderson and tight end Joel Dreessen.

Anderson (5-9, 194) was drafted by the Texans in the seventh round of the 2006 draft. He played in nine games as a rookie, making one catch for 27 yards. He spent the 2007 training camp with the Texans, catching three passes for 34 yards and one touchdown in preseason action.

Dreessen (6-4, 255) made the Texans' opening day roster, but was released when Houston signed Killings on Sept. 14. Dreessen is in his first year as a Texan after spending the 2005 season with the New York Jets.
