HOUSTON -The Houston Texans' 2010 season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars will be played at 3:15 p.m. CT, the NFL announced Sunday night. The Week 17 game was originally scheduled to kick off at noon CT but was "flexed" as part of the NFL's "flexible scheduling" plan.

The NFL utilizes flexible scheduling on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, the flexible scheduling decision for that Sunday may be made on six days notice. The Jaguars remain in contention for the AFC South title with the Indianapolis Colts.

This is the first time in franchise history that the Texans have had their kickoff time changed due to flexible scheduling.
