Texans sign Hodgdon

HOUSTON-- The Houston Texans announced today that they have signed fifth-round draft pick C Drew Hodgdon, the third of the Texans' six 2005 draft picks to sign.

Hodgdon (6-3, 309) started 34 of 45 career games at Arizona State, playing center as a junior and senior after lining up at guard his first two seasons. He earned honorable mention All-Pacific-10 honors last season.

The Texans report for training camp July 29.
