Texans sign Kent to practice squad

HOUSTON - The Houston Texans signed TE Rashod Kent to the practice squad, it was announced today.

Kent (6-6, 275) played in four games and started three with the Texans in 2003 before being waived on Nov. 9. After spending time on the Texans practice squad in 2002, Kent went to Europe to play for the Scottish Claymores. Kent is a converted basketball player from Rutgers that had not played football since his freshman year of high school.
