Texans to wear red ribbon to honor Robert C. McNair's memory

Houston Texans Founder, Senior Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert C. McNair passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the age of 81. Texans coaches and employees will wear a red ribbon during Monday night's game against the Tennessee Titans to honor McNair's memory and celebrate his legacy.

"This red ribbon is symbolic of the courage that Mr. McNair demonstrated every day," Houston Texans president Jamey Rootes said. "His courageous spirit was especially evident in the final years of his life as he battled valiantly against cancer."

The Texans players will wear a decal with McNair's initials, RCM, on their helmets for the remainder of the 2018 season.
