Texans win PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Award


The Houston Texans received the PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Gold Award for Best Print or Outdoor Campaign at an awards gala in New York Tuesday evening. The Texans won for their "Unleash the Spirit" campaign, which encompassed all of the team's print materials this season. The highlight of the campaign was the team's "Your Story. Your Glory." contest in which fans were featured on the team's season tickets. **SEE TICKETS**

"We are thrilled to receive this award," Texans Director of Marketing Jennifer Davenport said. "This campaign is special to the Houston Texans because it is all about our fans. Each fan represented throughout the campaign has an amazing story about how they express their Texans spirit or an inspiring reason that compelled us to select them. We believe that Houston has the best fans in the NFL, so it's only fitting that a campaign that features Texans fans would be the best in America."

The "Unleash the Spirit" campaign served as a unifying theme across all of the Texans' print materials and acted as a call to action to Texans fans. The campaign included the look and feel of all of the team's publications as well as all print and outdoor advertising.
