The Woodlands' Willig Named Texans Coach of the Week

HOUSTON– This week's Houston Texans Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Weldon Willig of The Woodlands High School. Coach Willig's Highlanders remained undefeated at 8-0 after downing Westfield 20-9.

Quarterback Jordan Dodson, the 15-5A District passing-leader, completed 7 of 11 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in the win.

The Woodlands High School will receive a $1,000 grant in Coach Willig's name for winning the Coach of the Week Award. For his accomplishment, Coach Willig will be recognized by Texans Head Coach Dom Capers on his radio show, on HoustonTexans.com and NFLHS.com, on the JumboTron at Reliant Stadium, and at a pre-game on-field ceremony at the Texans vs. Titans game on December 21.
