The Texans will fly more in the 2019 regular season than any season in franchise history.
With 21,312 round-trip miles, they’ll surpass the 2017 mileage mark of 18,438. The scheduled game in London against the Jaguars is the main reason why, as that journey will take them 9,640 miles, there-and-back.
The dates and times for their eight road contests will be announced in mid-April, but the Texans have known their 2019 home-and-road opponents since the season ended.
They fly United Airlines out of Bush Intercontinental Airport for all road trips, and will go west of Houston just once, when they face the Chargers in Los Angeles. The shortest flight of the season will be the trip to New Orleans, which is 608 miles away.
