Texans announce open practice dates

The Texans will open eight practices to the public during 2005 training camp, beginning on July 30 with Football Fiesta, the team's annual celebration of music, family and football.

Fans can receive their first chance at the free tickets to the training camp practices at Foley's

from 8 to 10 a.m. this Saturday, July 16. Texans players, cheerleaders and TORO will be on hand to sign autographs as well. Beginning at 11 a.m., the free tickets will be available at all Foley's Ticketmaster outlets only. Individuals may request a maximum of eight tickets per practice.

Gates open to practice at 6 p.m. Bleacher seating will be provided at all practices, and there will be appearances by Texans cheerleaders and TORO, interactive games and live radio remotes from SportsRadio 610. Restroom facilities and concessions, with food and beverages in addition to other merchandise, also will be available. While cameras and binoculars will be allowed, no video cameras will be allowed. Parking will be available free in the Purple Lot off McNee Drive.

Saturday, July 30          7:05-9:05 p.m. – Football Fiesta begins at 4 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 1           7:05-9:05 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 3      7:05-9:05 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 5              7:05-9:05 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 8           7:05-9:05 p.m. – Family First

Wednesday, Aug. 10    7:05-9:05 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 16         7:05-9:05 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 18        7:05-9:05 p.m.
