The Panthers are talking about the Texans | Enemy Intel

Panthers Head Coach Matt Rhule on Texans Head Coach David Culley: "I think Coach Culley has done a fantastic job there. Just watching their first two games so far, on offense, defense and special teams, they're well put together. They have an identity."

Rhule on the Texans Defense: "It's a defensive line that plays unbelievably hard. Tremendously active. Great linebacker play. So there's a lot of things for us to prepare for."

Panthers QB Sam Darnold on the Texans Defense: "They're solid. They do what they do, and they do it really well. They're very consistent in that. They've got good players all around, especially in that secondary, that are creating turnovers. The front seven are doing a really good job of rushing the passer."

Rhule on the Texans Offense: "It's a very unique offense. It's a Pro-style offense that has a lot of college concepts as well. A lot of RPO's (run-pass options). A lot of quarterback run-game. I don't know who we'll prepare for at quarterback. We just have to make sure we're really sound at what we do. Some of the things we've done the last few weeks, in terms of some of our defensive personnel packages, we'll have to adjust."

Rhule on Texans QB Davis Mills: "He's an excellent young quarterback. When he went in there, he played well. He had some adversity early on. Backed up situation. But then he moved them right down the field and in the 2-minute drill, they had a chance to make it a 1-score game."

Panthers CB Donte Jackson on Mills: "He has a strong arm. He can make every throw. He's confident. He's not a guy who shies away from a big moment. He got in the game against Cleveland and he wasn't scared. He'll take shots. He'll stand in there and fight."

Panthers DE Brian Burns on Mills: "Solid quarterback. He's still young, so he has a lot of learning to do. But at the end of the day, he's just another guy back there."

Jackson on Texans WR Brandin Cooks: "Brandin Cooks is a savvy vet. He's been making plays in this league for a long time. 1,000-yard seasons with like three or four different teams. He's definitely a guy that we're not overlooking. He's definitely a guy that we need to keep an eye on. Brandin Cooks makes a ton of plays."

The Texans will host the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. CT on NBC, NFL Network and SportsRadio 610. Click here for tickets.
