History: Houston Texans vs. Buffalo Bills

The Bills went 13-3 last season, winning the AFC East and advancing to the AFC Championship game. It was the club's first division title since 1995.

Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott enters his fifth season in charge, and has a career 38-26 record. The Bills have posted winning records in three of his four previous seasons as head coach.

The last time these two franchises met, Houston stormed back from a double-digit second half deficit and beat Buffalo in overtime for a Wild Card playoff win at NRG Stadium.
