• Played four seasons (2017-20) at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa., after redshirting as a true freshman walk-on in 2016
• Started all 47 games in his collegiate career, making 46 starts at center and one start at right guard
• As a redshirt senior, named recipient of the 2020 Burlsworth Trophy, annually presented to the most outstanding player in college football who began his career as a walk-on. Earned All-ACC honors for the third consecutive year, including first-team All-ACC recognition by the Associated Press and second-team All-ACC honors from the coaches and media
• In 2019, established himself as the top center in the ACC, not allowing a sack the entire season and was also rated as the Panthers' top run blocker. Earned first-team All-ACC honors and was a three-time Pro Football Focus ACC Team of the Week honoree
• Earned third-team All-ACC honors as a junior in 2018, becoming the first Pitt player at his position to earn such distinction
• Earned All-ACC Academic Football Team honors all four seasons that he played
